Sequence

When selecting and viewing assemblies there is an option to filter by Sequence. FabStation supports construction sequencing data from the design software to assist with the sequencing of the assembly fabrication.

Status

A status represents the stage of production that an assembly is in as it progresses through the manufacturing facility. Our system currently uses: Not Started, Fabricating, Fabricated, Inspecting, and Inspected to describe the different stages of production we are able to report on. Paused is also used to indicate that a Fabricating or Inspecting status has been paused by the user. This can be done to pause the logged time while the user is not working on the assembly or taking a break.

Subassembly

Is the term used to describe a structural member of a project that is pre-fabricated in a manufacturing facility and then delivered to site. Part, member or structural member are sometimes used as synonyms.

Sync Device

The FabStation software is dynamic and processes changes by several users at any given time. An automatic synchronization occurs in the background to keep each hardware device updated. To manually perform the synchronization, the user may select “Settings” or return to the login page and tap the “Sync Device” button.

TS: Errors and Warnings while uploading files

There are a few instances where the files may not upload and process correctly. The system is designed to process the project based on the information contained in the project ZIP file. If this information is not correctly assembled, the files will not be processed correctly.
