A status represents the stage of production that an assembly is in as it progresses through the manufacturing facility. Our system currently uses: Not Started, Fabricating, Fabricated, Inspecting, and Inspected to describe the different stages of production we are able to report on. Paused is also used to indicate that a Fabricating or Inspecting status has been paused by the user. This can be done to pause the logged time while the user is not working on the assembly or taking a break.

The FabStation software is dynamic and processes changes by several users at any given time. An automatic synchronization occurs in the background to keep each hardware device updated.
To manually perform the synchronization, the user may select “Settings” or return to the login page and tap the “Sync Device” button.

There are two areas in the FabStation web portal where ZIP files are required:
Project Upload - Uploads all the project data for the FabStation software to function.
Load List Upload - Uploads the data to indicate which load each assembly is to be shipped.

If the detailing software being used does not support the export of a KISS file, one will need to be created manually.

There are a few instances where the files may not upload and process correctly. The system is designed to process the project based on the information contained in the project ZIP file. If this information is not correctly assembled, the files will not be processed correctly.
