We will kindly ask you to refrain from using complex assemblies and stick to the simple ones, such as a column or a beam. You can see the examples above:

Welcome to our guide for the tablet 2D viewer!

Here, you will learn how to work with the digital drawings and get information about some useful features of the 2D viewer.

2D viewer

Within the FabStation 2D viewer is called Drawings.

You can access it within the FabStation from any mode: View, Fabricate or Inspect by choosing the assembly. Please refer to Part 1 if you would like a refresher on how to choose an assembly.

There are 2 main benefits of this viewer:

• Keep things digital;
• Check other parts of the assembly;
  

Let's take a closer look on those benefits 👉

Step 1: Keep things digital

With Drawings viewer there is no need to go back and forth printing and getting assembly drawings.

Once you found your assembly on the Home Screen of the FabStation, you can:

1) View it from any mode, just by clicking on the Drawings button;

2) Zoom it in and out with fingers 🤏 or buttons on the top left;

3) Move zoomed in image with fingers 👇🏻

4) Click on "Exit" on the top right to get back to the mode page with other actions.
